Meat Chickens (Broilers)
We will have one batch of meat birds (broilers) available this year. These chickens are in the brooder house for the first 3 weeks. After that they are moved to a shelter in the pasture where they are protected from predators. They are moved to fresh grass daily.
Approximate processing date is September 18 when they are 8 weeks old. Pick up at the farm same day of processing for ultimate freshness! Whole birds only.

THANKSGIVING TURKEYS
Thanksgiving Turkeys
We will have fresh Thanksgiving Turkeys available this year just before Thanksgiving. These turkeys are in the brooder house for the first 7 weeks. After that they are moved to a large outdoor pen in the pasture. They are moved to fresh grass every 2 or 3 days.
Approximate processing date is November 20 and 21 when they are 17 weeks old. We estimate they will be between 16 to 22 lbs. Pick up at the farm same day of processing for ultimate freshness! FARM FRESH EGGS
Fresh Brown Eggs
We will have farm fresh brown eggs available for sale starting around November 10. These eggs are always very clean but unwashed so we don't harm the natural protective layer, called the bloom, that is on the outside shell of the eggs. This protective layer keeps bacteria out of the egg and is a natural and healthy "preservative" to boost the longevity of the egg.
The Rhode Island Red and Barred Rock hens which laid these eggs were in the brooder house for the first 3 weeks of their life. From weeks 4 to 12 they are in a sheltered pen in the pasture where they are protected from predators. After that they are moved to a large outdoor pen in the pasture with access to a shelter. They are moved to fresh grass every 2 or 3 days.

Young pullets
Live Young Layer Pullets
We will have 100 young layer pullets for sale this year so you can have your own flock without navigating the delicate first few weeks of a baby chick's life. We have them available for sale when they are 10 to 20 weeks old. Rhode Island Red will be available August 15 through October 25 and Barred Rock will be available September 15 through November 25.
