We buy our animal feed from His Saving Grains in Fort Recovery, Ohio. They use a patented process to provide a finished product that is far superior to anything else on the market. Put simply, this process consists of crushing the grains (not grinding them, like conventional processes). The patented crushing machine leaves the grain cell's ecosystem whole and thriving. This allows the cell to work as God intended, keep its nutrition, and boost its shelf life.

Contrary to popular belief, grains do not naturally contain harmful gluten. Gluten is formed from the conventional processes of grinding the wheat which allows oxygen into the now destroyed ecosystem, bleaching and heating the flour, etc. Since the whole cell process preserves the grain cell's ecosystem and harmful glutens aren't able to enter, it can help heal and nourish those with celiac disease and gluten sensitivity.

The whole cell crushed grains that are made for human consumption have only one ingredient. For example, the crushed wheat has only wheat, the crushed rolled oats has only oats, and the coffee has only coffee beans. The whole cell crushed animal feed has a mixture of grains and extra nutrition. Preservatives, heat processes, chemicals, and synthetics are NEVER used in these products. We want our farm to be very transparent and honest, so we are listing the ingredients for the feed that we are using in 2025.

God gave nature everything it needs to thrive and work together. Since this process doesn't destroy that ecosystem in the grain cells, every part of it can work together, including to preserve itself. We have not found an expiration date for the whole cell crushed grains, but we have tested the grains that are made for human consumption and found it to be alive and well after 3 years.

Since the grain cell's ecosystem is whole, even in the form of Wheat #1, which is very finely crushed whole cell wheat to be used as 1:1 replacement for flour in your kitchen, it's actually possible to germinate and grow the crushed grains.
